Membership
Q: How can I become a member?
A: To be able to fill out surveys for money, simply fill out the Registration Form found on our website.
Q: Does membership cost me anything?
A: No. There is no fee to be a member of Vivaresearch Survey Panel. Once you have joined, you will be eligible to participate in surveys and receive rewards on signing up for trial offers.
Q: I live outside the United States of America; can I still join the panel?
A: No. Our surveys are open to only citizen of USA of 18 years of age. Only a few surveys are open to Canadian citizens too. No other country is included.
Q: What do you do with the profile information I filled out when signing up?
A: That information is stored in our database and used to match up participants with specific survey requirements. Your profile information will never be shared with outside sources. For more information, see our privacy policy.
Q: How can I update my membership information?
A: Please login to your account and go to Update profile page. Update your information and press submit.
Surveys
Q: What are surveys?
A: Surveys are questionnaires designed to teach companies what their customers think about their products and services. They can be done online. The answers from all the participants are then compiled by the market research company and presented to their client.
Registration
Q: I tried to submit the registration form and I received the message "Document contains no data." What should I do?
A: Most likely, there are too many people on our server at one time. This slows down our server and does not let you register in full. Please check back in an hour or two.
Q: I entered all my information, but am not sure if my registration went through.
A: You can check your email inbox for a welcome email from VivaResearch. If you are able to view your registration information in your welcome email, then you have successfully registered as a member.
Q: I did not receive a confirmation email.
A: The confirmation email is automatically generated after you register. Sometimes, due to high web traffic, emails get lost. If you have not received your confirmation email within 24 hours after registration, please email support@vivaresearch.com to let us know that you have not received your confirmation email.
Q: When I enter my email address, I get a message saying I am already registered, but I have never registered before.
A: Somebody may have already registered with your email address. Please register with a different email address. If you continue to have problems, feel free to email us at support@vivaresearch.com
Taking Online Survey
Q: How do I participate in Surveys?
A: After registration, members are provided with the list of Surveys available. Upon completion of initial screening, members will be redirected to the client's site and participate in surveys, which will consist of answering a few questions and signing up of the trial offer. It takes 10-15 minutes to complete the survey. Also based on the information available with us, we send out invitations to those members who, we believe, may qualify for a study when a client contacts us with a survey. The e-mail will contain a link to the survey and a login code. The first part of the survey traditionally contains several screening questions. If you pass the screening process, as determined by the client, you will then be allowed to continue with the survey and be paid.
Q: How long are the surveys and focus groups and the time taken?
A: With surveys, much depends on your own speed, but generally we'd estimate about 10-15 inutes per survey. Focus Groups vary even greater. A focus group could last anywhere from 30 minutes to several hours. Generally with the pay increasing the longer the company needs you!
Q: I don't have a credit card. Can I participate in the surveys?
A: No. You cannot because the scheme of these surveys requires you to sign up the trial offer which cannot be done without a credit card.
Q: Do I get paid per survey? How much?
A: The pay for each survey varies, but depending on the length, you can get paid anywhere up to $50 per survey!
Q: When I complete the survey and submit, my account status shows “pending” and also “resubmit”. Do I have to “resubmit” the whole survey again?
A. It may so happen that you have completed the survey and not signed up for the trial offer. To give you an opportunity to sign up, your account status shows “resubmit” so that you could sign up the trial offer and resubmit the same along with the survey. This has been done to ensure that you do not submit the complete survey without signing up for the trial offer.
Q: How do I get paid?
A: Those who complete the survey and sign up the trial offers, their account status will immediately show pending earnings. It takes about 8 weeks for these pending earnings to be processed in the light of verification of sign up and other requirements and approved if found compliant. Once a member’s account shows a balance of $ 50 of approved earnings, a button will pop-up “to get paid”, which should be clicked to receive payment. Vivaresearch will send check to those who have opted for check payment to their address on file after deducting $ 2 to cover postage and credit the PayPal account of the participants within a period two weeks (48 hours in case of PayPal). PayPal.com is a FREE service that allows you to instantly receive cash over the Internet. You can register with PayPal by going to www.paypal.com. In their own interest, participants should inform of any change in these particulars by going to the Update Profile page to verify that your personal information is correct.
Q: How about taxes?
A. You are considered an independent contractor and no taxes are taken out of your paycheck.
Problems with taking surveys
If you have problems taking a survey, the first thing we need to know is which particular survey you were having problems with. If the following answers do not resolve your problem, please send an email to support@vivaresearch.com.
Q: When I clicked on the link for the survey, it took me to your home page.
A: The survey URL opens a new window, which will sometimes minimize itself if you have other windows open. Close all other windows and maximize the survey login page by clicking its button on your task bar.
Q: I was taking a survey, and it would not let me continue on to the next page. It says I still have not answered one of the questions when I answered them all. What do I do?
A: First, make sure your answers for each question showed up on the screen. If you were required to click on a small circle, make sure there is a dot in each circle that requires a response. Often, when you click on the circle quickly the dot may appear, but does not stay when you move to the next question.
Q: I clicked on the survey URL and got the message "page not found."
A: This could be due to a high volume of traffic trying to access our website simultaneously. Please try to access the page again at a later time. If you continue to have difficulty accessing the site, email support@vivaresearch.com immediately.

Q: Do you have an affiliate program?

Q: Is it safe to use my credit card online?
A: All orders are processed from start to finish vendors’s secure servers. Any data submitted is first encrypted, using SSL. Your information is safe and secure.
Q: Why do you ask personal information when I register?
A: We ask demographic questions such as age, gender, employment and online practices to ensure we have a diverse, representative membership database. We only use this information to group our respondents for inclusion in appropriate surveys. It is kept strictly confidential, and your individual information is never divulged to advertisers or other third parties.
Q: How do I unsubscribe?
A: If you wish to unsubscribe, Click on the unsubsribe link sent to you in your welcome email.
